Outreach Events

Our largest effort is geared towards community outreach. We strive to engage people of all ages, but young people in particular, with science that gets them excited! Check out our photo gallery to see pictures of our fun events. Below are some of the ways we achieve our goals:

Hands-On Science

We are working to hold events where we provide interactive science demonstrations for local K-12 students, which get them incredibly excited about science!

Science Cafes

We are working to hold events where Yale G&P students engage local middle school and high school students with talks about cutting-edge research in various fields. These research talks will be followed with time for informal discussion between the speakers and the middle/high school students so that these young students can foster relationships with up-and-coming researchers!

Educational Panel Discussions

We are working to hold panel discussions for high school students on topics such as how to choose the right college and how to succeed in college.

Public Science Talks

We are working to give a public lecture series for the local community on the most exciting, cutting-edge research of the last decade.
