Black Arts Festival Panel Discussion at Af-Am House

February 27, 2016

The Yale League of Black Scientists (YLBS) collaborated with the Afro-American Cultural Central and the Black Graduate Network for Cultural Center’s Black Arts Festival panel discussion on working in STEM fields. YLBS members Lyndsey McMillon and Charles Brown spoke about, not only, what they do on a typical day, obstacles they overcame during their career paths, and the importance of mentorship, but much more. Pictured above (left to right) are YLBS member, Charles Brown; Professor and Chair of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Paul Turner; YLBS member, Lyndsey McMillon; graduate student, Ana Sofia De Brito.
