YLBS participated in the NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) Jr. Night at Yale. Local high school students were invited to campus to tour Yale STEM facilities and take part in lab demonstrations. The evening concluded with dinner and discussion at the African American Cultural Center on Yale’s campus, where conversation ranged from expectations in college life to experiences being a student of color in STEM.
